Mukteshwar town is at a distance of 27 kms from our resort is a popular hill station in Uttarakhand famous for adventure sports such as rock climbing and rappelling. Overlooking the peaks of Nanda Devi, Mukteshwar is also a celebrated scenic spot that is perfect for long walks and some quiet time in the closeness of nature.

The Mukteshwar Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is a revered shrine of the region. Located near this temple is the Chauthi Jaali, which is a picturesque precipice of lattice rocks. These rocks present an enchanting view of the green grasslands down below. The Mukteshwar Inspection Bungalow, which is located near the temple, offers a perfect place to relax and unwind while enjoying the scenery around. The charming landscape of the Sitla Estate here is beautiful and offers seasonal fruits such as apples, peaches and plums.

Mukteshwar Temple: The Mukteshwar town got its name from an ancient Lord Shiva Temple which is as old as 5500 years. The temple has an amazing landscape view and an even better tale about its history. It is said that the temple was built by the Pandavas during the 12 years of their exile life. The temple top can be reached by trekking through a beautiful path with deodar and pine trees on the sides. One can also choose to climb 90 steps to reach the temple.

Chauli ki Jali: Also known as Chauthi Jali is one of the famous tourist places in Mukteshwar, behind the Mukteshwar Temple. Chauli ki Jali is bliss for nature lovers and anyone who seeks adventure.

A beautiful sightseeing spot, the place is also famous for rock climbing, and rappelling experiences, with an amazing view of Himalayan ranges from the edge of the place. This place also holds great religious value to the Hindus as it is believed that a great battle was fought on this site between the goddess and a demon.

Bhalu Gaad Waterfalls: The waterfall is located at a distance of 10 km from the main town of Mukteshwar. One has to trek a distance of 2 km to reach the waterfall. A 60 ft high waterfall with an undiscovered source that takes a mixed shape of a horseshoe awaits you at the end of the scenic trek. The place is a beautiful sight and a paradise for bird lovers. The continuous flow of water throughout the year is one main reason to visit and that too any time during the year. It is also known as Rainbow Falls among locals because at the bottom of the waterfall emerges a beautiful rainbow. Enjoy this natural beauty that you will remember forever.

Nathuakhan: A small solitary village situated at a distance of 19 kms from Mukteshwar in the Kumaon hills, blessed with an extra ordinary beauty of nature that captivates the attention of all its visitors. A clear view of astonishingly beautiful Himalayan Ranges and trekking amidst oak, pine, and kaphal trees. The village is also decorated with small wooden and stone country club and, adding beauty to the landscape.

Peora: Peora is the fruit bowl of Uttarakhand, located at a distance of 8 kms from Mukteshwar in the Kosyakutoli Tehsil of Nainital district. By Air

Pantnagar Airport, at a distance of 80 km, is the closest airport. One can hire a taxi from the airport to reach this Mukteshwar resort. Alternatively one can take a flight to Jolly Grant airport at Dehradun or Indira Gandhi International airport at New Delhi. Last mile connectivity from both the cities are available.

By Train

Kathgodam Railway Station is situated at a distance of 43 km from our resort at Mukteshwar and is the closest railhead. This railway station is connected to different towns and cities across the country like Lucknow, Kolkata and Delhi. One can get a taxi or bus from Kathgodham Railway Station to reach the resort.

By Road

Our Mukteshwar resort is at a distance of 324 km from Delhi, 38 km from Nainital and 49 km from Haldwani. From Delhi, take NH 24 to Rampur and after that NH 87 to Ranibagh. From there, take the state highway to Bhowali and then another state highway will take you to our resort at Mukteshwar, via Ramgarh.
